Brain Farts Things I think about sometimes: Sometimes when I am doing something maybe playing baseball outside, or searching the internet, I think; "Is there some person in the world that is doing the same exact thing that I am?" Like today when I went out shopping with my mom and bros, was there another family out there shopping with thier mom and three brothers looking for the same stuff as we were? I dunno, maybe I just think too much. Some things that have crossed my mind: Why do people say "A.T.M. Machine", isn't it redundant.
Is the sound a tree makes when it falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it the same sound as one hand clapping?
What ever happened to "Crystal Pepsi", it just dropped off the face of the earth.
Why do people say "P.I.N. Number" isn't it redundant.

Technically time machines will never be invented because if they were wouldn't people from the future be visiting us today.

Why do people say the phrase "oh, you got a hair cut" when it is obvious that more than one hair got cut. Why isn't it "oh, you got your hairs cut"?
What the hell is the point of Chinese beatles, you know those huge, blind, and green beatles that fly around. You would think that mother nature would have killed off such a useless organism already.

My opinion of why and how this world is going to hell in a handbasket. 7/24/01- I am going to address a topic on the minds of many ignorant people around the world. You probably know some of these people, they are people who want world peace. They then make donations in hopes that thier money will help. However all efforts to achieve world peace are futile. World peace can never be achieved, it is as impossible as all the original Beatles getting back together; it will never happen. One reason is that as long a people think differently there will be fights. And even if everyone on earth thought the same, peace still could not be acheived. The reason for this is that everything must have an opposite. Black has white, life has death, stupid has smart, and war has peace. If war did not exsist then peace could not; therefore world peace can never be achieved. 6/26/01- One thing that I am extremely tired of hearing is the media blaming music and the gaming industry for all of the teenagers going out and shooting people. I listen to that type of music I play those types of video games, yet I feel no urge to go out and shoot up the school or kill someone. Do you know what the difference between me and those killers are; it is not race or religion, it is parenting. This is where the blame should be placed, on the parents. These parents were so ignorant, they did not realize guns and other various weapons of death in thier childs room, they did not notice the drastic change in attitude. Next time a kid goes on a killing spree see who the media blames, it is almost never the parents, the very people who are supposed to be taking care of the child. 6/10/01- Is it just me or do people get easily offended in today's world. Everyday some woman is claiming sexual harassment because she over hears a bunch of guys telling a dirty joke. Women in general all want equal rights in the workplace and in society, but yet they do not want any of the hardships. They dont want to deal with being jerked around and haggled, when it is truly only the people (men and women) that endure this that get anywhere in sociey. I think that if women and minorities want a chance in the United States then they should stop bitchin and start doing something constructive. 5/30/01 The President has taken the liberty of visiting our state. You know, California, the state that has the sixth largest economy in the WORLD. Bush comes in, then he tells Governor Davis screw you and that he is not going to help the power situation immediatly, he instead chose to wait it out. How big of an idiot is this guy. Maybe it is because California chose to send its electoral votes to Gore. Even the Republicans in the Democratic state of California want Bush to do something because they want to get reelected. Many economist say that if California plunges into a recession because of the power shortage the rest of the country is not far behind. What is the President thinking? I think the President should get rid of his "Don't mess with Texas" attitude and pull his head out of his arse. California needs help now, after that long term solutions can be used, but not before then. 5/28/01 Because of the recent power crisis in California my parents have been really nagging me to save electricity. They are worried about the electricity bill, and I can understand why. But what the hell is going on with So. Cal. Edison. They are part of a billion dollar company, why isn't the mother company helping out. WTF? I do not want to be screwed out of electricity because of some moron money grabbers. |
