Rammstein: Mutter (type of music: heavy metal)

This is their best cd so far I think. I mean I dont have a clue what they are saying, but I love the music and the lyrics just seem to flow with the guitars and drums. It starts off with a great song and keeps that consistency throughout. If you like Rammstein and enjoy their first couple cds you must get this one, I highly enjoyed it.

Rammstein: Mutter gets a rating of: 8.5 feet

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Sugar, Sex, Magik, Blood (type of music: hard rock)

Normally I would not buy this type of rock, but right now I am getting bored with hard rock and metal. Dont get me wrong, I still love that type of music, but I am having to expand my listening preferences. One thing about the Red Hots that I did not realize before is that they curse a lot in their cds. I was kinda amazed. But this cd did not really appeal to me and I can say with confidence that I will not purchase another Red Hot Chili Peppers cd even if it does cost 5 bucks like this one.

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Sugar, Sex, Magik, Blood gets a rating of: 5.5 feet

Slipknot: Iowa (type of music: heavy metal)

If you are a Slipknot fan and you dont have this cd as of now, stop reading this review and go and buy it...NOW! For those who are not familar with Slipknot, I recommend getting used to thier type of music with their first cd, and then buying Iowa. Iowa is faster, heavier, and more coordinated than thier first. Although some of the lyrics can be interpreted as being "satanic" and music for the debo, it is a great cd. Rolling Stone gave it 4 out of 5 stars, so you know its gotta be good and it is. I would recommend this cd to any heavy metal fan.

Slipknot: Iowa gets a rating of: 8.5 feet

Soulfly (type of music: heavy metal)

This is a great cd for all of those heavy metal people out there. The first track (which is essential to the well being of the cd) is quite good. This is followed up by some great tracks, with a slight hint of the bands heritage (Brazil I think). If you enjoy this cd you should by thier second album which my cousin tells me is just as good.

Soulfly gets a rating of: 8 feet

Soundgarden: A-Sides (type of music: rock)

In my searches for more music I can listen to this cd popped up. It came in a package deal with the Red Hots and Stone Temple Pilots. I thought I would enjoy it since I liked the song Black Hole Sun, but to be honest I have not listened to this cd as much as I normally would a cd I review; the reason: it does not hold my attention. Maybe I still am attached to heavy metal and hard rock, I dunno, but this cd was about a good a purchase as the Red Hots.

Soundgardern: A-Sides gets a rating of 6 feet

Static X: Machine (music type: heavy metal)

This sophmore title of Static-X is a good purchase, especially if you are a Static-x fan. They don't let you down as the music has basically the same sound and feeling as thier previous album, there is no change that makes them suck. By this I mean the change that KOrN underwent from Life is Peachy to Follow the Leader, that sucked the big chorizo.

Static-X: Machine gets a rating of: 8 feet

Staind: Break the Cycle (type of music: heavy metal)

I do believe that Staind has gotten heavier with this cd. Their music has a lot more base and heavy metal like sound, I like the improvement. However they do have some lighter stuff on the cd, but they are mixed in with the heavy, which really balance eachother out. This is a good cd and I reccomend buying it if you liked their previous installment

Staind: Break the Cycle gets a rating of: 8 feet

Stone Temple Pilots: Core (type of music: hard rock)

At first I was a little skeptical of STP, but after listening to the whole cd I have grown to enjoy it. Over all this was the best cd I got in my package deal (Red Hots and Soundgardern were others in package). With its heavier guitars and more bass than the other two in the package I can say that this cd was actually worth purchasing.

Stone Temple Pilots: Core gets a rating of: 7.5 feet

System of a Down: Toxicity (type of music: punk rock)

I usually wait a couple weeks before doing a review of any cd; this is because it usually takes that long for me to listen to it enough times to get a feel for it. However, I have listened to this cd so many times since it came out I can easily do a review. This shows how good this cd is. Without a doubt it is better than their first cd. The tunes are so much catchier it is unbelieveable. If you are getting this cd for "Chop Suey" you are going to get so much more, cuz there are songs that are better than that. Go "pull the tapeworm out of your ass" (song lyric) and go get this cd now.

Sytem of a Down: Toxicity gets a rating of: 9.5 feet
