well I just got back my stats midterm, and it turns out that I did much better than I thought...although much better is not saying much...I got a 68, which is much better than the forty that I thought I was going to get, and the way that that stats prof. talked had me not despising him, just hating stats. so in conclusion stats still= saaaaahcks but stats prof=un-saaaaahcks...next up biology...tune in tomorrow kids for that...same bat time, same bat channel.

pretty boring weekend, just trying to recover from three midterms. How'd they go you ask...well food science, I did well on as you know...biology I have not seen my grade for yet, but I feel like I did really well on it. stats on the other hand...is crap, pure and utter crapulence. I hate that class more than I have ever hated math. he lets us have a whole sheet of notes to use for the test, but his test is such crap that they are no help whatsoever. damn. I was going to post a very angry blog on friday about it, but instead decided to hang out with tamo. so steph and I headed over to pick up tamo and then went back to stephs, so she could shower. steph, basically took a shower, ate, then went to sleep...not much in between. tamo and I had a blast playing some Icarumba...or as tamo likes to call it (by its correct name) Ikaruga. we laughed and had a good time, taking away some of my stress. then after several hours of video games tamo and I talked about our place next year and what we need. we want to get one of those hot water dispenser things that actually keeps your water hot, not a thermos. we can only find it for like 90 to 100 bucks and thats way to pricy for our liking, so we might just have to scrap that plan. we also found that we need more pots and pans, a coffee table, a foreman grill (tamo says they are really handy, I know marcus uses his like at least once or twice a week), floor mats for the bathroom, and some hot pad holders. (why do they call them hot pad holders...youre holding hot things..but not pads..ew...or maybe its hot pan holders and I have just been saying wrong all my life...which is also very likely, in fact the other day I found out that I was spelling tongue wrong..I put the "U" in the wrong place, go figure) any who I have to get cracking on my history essay which is due tomorrow so I better get going...oh yeah I hate the lakers...how dare they make me stressed out...dammit win by bigger margins so I dont have to freak...GO LAKERS!! and also in post season play the DUCKS are opening a can of whoop ass on all the teams they have faced so far. They sweep detroit the defending champs, and then they are up 2-0 in the next round against the number one team dallas...go figure...so in summation:

well, the ducks are going to the next round of the playoffs after sweeping the red wings, and thats not an easy thing to do. and the lakers are going to face the t-wolves in the first round of the playoffs since they some how wesealed into fifth place by winning the last game. you know whats kinda sad...only one team in the eastern confrence won 50 games and they got first place...however the lakers won 50 and are in fifth in the west...go figure...ok I am getting sleepy, I think I shall hit the sack now.

well I have not posted in a while...*cracks knuckles*...well I have not been up to much as of late. stats was actually really good today, I felt that it all came together today. like all the things that he had previously been teaching came together in this huge mass of information and greek symbols. It was a mess..but I understood it...well anyway midterms are coming up...so soon it seems, I feel like I just started the quarter, but here I am almost in week three. sheesh time flies...the only thing is I am having no fun...whoever said time flies when youre having fun must have never been in the quarter system in college...what an idiot.. he must have been the same guy who said "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"...sheesh just throw a damn dictionary at him...that'll shut him up..well I digress... so this week has been interesting, my computer took a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE crap on me. So I tried to reformat my hard drive with the XP cd like I did last time, but it kept telling me that I needed the original windows cd...but I did not have such a cd, apparently what compaq did was put that on my hd in a separate partiton, but since I reformatted once before this information was gone...so I freaked out...I got a cd from rory thats for his gateway, but that did not help (no offense rory, you did all you could) and then I got one from marcus...it seemed to work fine. It reformmated my hd and all seemed to be going well until the installation of the OS came...it said that it could not be installed so I was like F**K man, now I have a reformmated hd with no os to operate it. so for a day my computer was a 1500 dollar paper weight. I called compaq and they gave me this website to order the cd's that I needed since I could not use the recovery cd since that was in the damn partition too (dont worry this all comes back to bite compaq in the ass) so I order the QuickRestore cd's from compaq for 10 bucks and I get it overnighted to me since I absolutely needed them to run my computer. so the next day I am trying to get my computer to work again, and then it occurs to me to get marucs' windows cd that did not work and use it to trick my compter into thinking that it was my windows cd...because it did not need to install anything from the cd, it just needed to know that I had a windows cd. And to my surprise it worked like a charm. too bad I did not think of that 12 hours earlier or I would not be out (or my mom and dad would not be out) 25 bucks. so the long and the short of it my computer works now...but like I said before compaq is going to get punished for this...I found out later that day in an email that there is a class action lawsuit agains compaq for putting the windows information in a partition and not giving the cd for free with the comp like all the other companies. the case is still being decided and what not, but I am sure that compaq is going to lose since they are a bunch of jerks for putting me though this....damn them...I almost hate them as much as SBC...and maybe microsoft...ok imma do some stuff and head off to bed..leights

woah...have not posted in a while..cant say that I have been busy, because I dont really feel like I have...anyway to recap everything that has happened in recent memory...which may include up to last weekend...ok here we go...class monday through wednesday can be summed up in one word...BORING...today class was fun...in a sorta nerdy way I guess. in my food science class my prof. bagged on britney spears. he was talking about a new "craze" in vegetarianism...its called semi vegetarianism, people can eat meat, but they most of the time are straight vegetarians...he said that he did not really think that this is being a vegetarian...and its kinda like britney spears..."she's sometimes a virgin...and other times shes not"...I laughed so hard I began to tear...lol...it is still funny as hell...okay back to friday when I went bowling with tamo and steph...I know it has already been said and what not about what happened that day, but let me just say that tamo had his fair of bs that day too...for example the first frame of the first game...tamo got a strike because the very front pin fell before he rolled...but I will admit that I had the ultimate bs with that lefty thing...no I did not plan it...and no I did not plan to beat him by one pin...although it did make the victory all the better :]

well thats about it for now I guess..this saturday is picnic day...its quite a big event, I am going to go with steph and tamo, I dont know how long we are going to stay...I dont like huge crowds..cuz they piss me off and what not, but we'll spend some time there, steph wants a fried twinkie, I might try one too, eh we'll see. thats all for now..leightz

well if any of you are thinking of getting me an early birthday gift...like four months early...I was thinking about trying to get the domain www.congofeet.com I was really considering it, and I have for a while now...and by a while I mean like over a year. its like 40 bucks for 2 years which is not too bad I think, especially if I really want it. also I have been thinking about what I want to do with my life, and I keep saying that I want to do something that will change peoples lives. I think that if I can find a job that will change the lives of people then I could die happily...this has led me to the conclusion that maybe I should become a teacher. what better way to change the lives of people than to teach them, I dont know just something that I was contemplating. I mean it would be easier than trying to find the cure for something...but then finding the cure for something would change things on a global scale...hmm, I dont know. I kind of want to teach though, not college I dont think, probably some AP course in high school...maybe even Schurr. I think that would be kinda neat...or maybe its just a phase that I am going through. I know that teachers dont get paid a lot...I mean you hear it all the time that teachers dont get paid what they should, but I just want to make a difference.

got some free time on my hands right now, so it seems fitting to type a blog...so here goes:

first day of school was great...only two hours of class starting at 2 in the afternoon. first up is history (from civil war to present). it turns out that I have marcus in my class and neither him nor I knew until about 2 hours before the class, so that was interesting. the class seems to be a good one. the professor uses powerpoint, which I notoriously do not like at all, but its okay for history since I dont need to figure out the chemical formula and what not on my own. his presentations are uber fancy. you'd have to see it to know what I am talking about. but he is funny and thats always good in a class. my next class after is statistics...its ok...I guess, I mean I can understand what the prof. is saying, but I dont really follow him, I find myself saying in my head "how the hell does this apply to what he is trying to teach us." well it was the first day so I guess we will see how it turns out tomorrow. the book for this class is over 100 bucks, be I need it for problems, however since steph is in the same class we are going to split the price of one book.

second day of school was good..it was not great because I had so many hours of class...okay so I only have 5 but thats a lot compared to 2...anyway, the day started at 8 in the morn for my class at 9, its a good easy class to wake up to...food science. this class is going to be a breeze (I hope) the prof is funny and the topic is not hard so my attention should be kept for all 80 min. the class is sooooo packed, I have never seen chem 194 so filled. if you can imagine all of chem 194 filled...every seat...and then peeps were in the aisles....for those who dont know what chem 194 looks like just know that it seats about 400 peeps I think, he said the class had over 500 people in the class. He has 4 test in the class, 3 midterms (non comprehensive) and a final which are all equally weighted. then the best thing is that you get to drop one of them, so if you do well on the midterms you dont have to take the final...w00t. well after food science I have biology. its not going to be too too bad I...I hope, its bio, its my major, I enjoy the class...I should do well...but I am going to need the book to work on problems...so that is not going to be cheap, I think it runs over $100...dont worry I'll try to find it the cheapest I can, but I am just warning my mom and dad. I have already spent 100 bucks on books, so worst case senario I think about $200 more...sorry. after bio I had two discussions, one for stats and one for bio..both horribly horribly boring. and that winds up my day.

tomorrow I have a history discussion being the only new class, I dont know how that is going to be I hope its going to be okay, but we'll see, ok me go chower...leightz
