So during christmas I told various people that I would post some links...so without further ado:

Fish Pics

Yellowstone Pics

I guess I'll summarize christmas a bit later...probably on my year in summary post that I usually make. Oh yeah, and please note that my pictures are far better than those other pictures you may have seen on christmas day...just prepare yourself to be blown away.

Okay, trouble awaits...

I can't find them at any stores...

And there are no ice cream men around here to buy them from...

Any ideas?

So I have some good news pertaining to football and both of my alma maters, first my high school who made it to the CIF Finals. Schurr never really did much when I was there in football, but Mikey (who is a starting OT) seems to be having some luck and he and his team are going to the Finals. Davis, though not going to any championship (we could not have anyway, being in probation and all for the transition to Division I, finished 6-5 this season. Most would be like, well who cares...but this is the 37th year in a row that UCD has finished the season with a record of .500 and above. That is amazing...even in the past few years when we were playing tougher teams (like Stanford) we were still able to pull off winning seasons. I am not sure if Mikey would want to come to UCD, but our football tradition is pretty good I think, and we have new facilities that are going to be used for the first time next season.

Anyway...

on a more somber note, yesterday (since it is about 1:30am right now) was the 1 year anniversary of my grandma passing away, I took some time to reflect on her and how she made my life (as well as other lives) better. How fitting is it that Mikey helps his team clinch a Finals berth on the day grandma passed away. I am sure she was helping out some, now if she could only help me land a job...

Love you Grandma!
