Well I have not published in a while, mainly because I have been working...about 30 hours from wednesday to friday. That should be a nice chunk of money for me, which is good since I have to pay off the part I bought for my truck and the new fish tank which is now up and running. George is absolutely loving it...he is swimming around during the day time now, which Bruce, Willy and Greg do not like, but they'll get over it since they have all that room. I'll be sure to try and post a picture of the tank setup as soon as I can get a camera. okay, I have to get back to cleaning up the huge mess that I made...leights.

When it rains, it pours. Something my mom has always told me when it comes to having to spend money. I don't think I have ever really felt that it was pouring on me, until now. I think it is hailing right now, where the hell is my good luck. I spent about $200 fixing up my truck a couple weeks ago, and now it needs about $400 more work done on it. I know the truck was a gift, and it was a great gift, but I think this is the end of the road for the truck. I would much rather put $400 towards a newer car than spend $400 fixing up this older one. Hrmmm...my eyelid is twitching...I need to de-stress...

So I have not updated this thing in a while, so I guess I will:

First off, on a somber note, one of my co-workers, an undergrad here at UC Davis, had a fiance that died in a motorcycle accident. It kind of makes you realize how fragile life is, and that life could end rather suddenly. It makes you want to enjoy everyday of your life and not deal with the seemingly smaller things in life like school, homework and studying. But I guess life is a good balance of both. While you should be enjoying life everyday, you should also invest in the future. I feel that it is hard to find this balance, but I have done it for the past 14 or 15 years. I guess you dont realize how you have been investing your time until something brings everything like this makes you evaluate your life. I feel that I have been wasting my time, I have not been investing wisely. Not dealing with school, but in my time for fun. I really wish that I had more money so I could go and do some more fun stuff. I really wish I could be irresponsible, but alas I have several mouths to feed, and I think a new house to buy for a certain fish that is over 18 inches now. I guess I sacrafice lots of fun, for just a little bit and a lot of fish. I sometimes think it is not worth it, but most of the time I really feel glad that I have them.

Okay, moving on to other things. I got my proposal back from Dr. Cech today and I got an 85 out of 90, which really surprised me and was a great relief because it is a huge part of my grade. I also called Renee today for the financial aid stuffs, and against everything that I stand for I left a message, and she did not call me back. How discouraging, that is why I dont leave messages. For other stuff that I did today you can read stephs blog, I dont want to repeat that stuff, I am too lazy. Also, I got a tiny polypterus today, for more info on them click here. I plan on getting some small oscars too, if you dont know what they look like you can click here. Maybe I'll take some more pics of all my fish and post them up online. Oh, maybe I could post some more video clips of george eating, I know you'll like that. He eats the big feeders now...likethe 2 inch ones. Okay, I am sleepy, I have to get up and clean tanks later...gnight.

well today was a very crappy day...turned in my proposal, but not without having to deal with a bunch of garbage. So I had my laptop and was going to finish it up on campus, but my laptop kept freezing and losing any new content I put on my proposal. It was like one step foreward then 2 back. I finally just started saving every sentence and finished the paper and saved it onto myucdavis so I could print it out in the computer lab on campus...of course the computer lab that I went to had a class in it so I could not go in, so I quickly ran over to the TA's office and they were nice enough to let me use their computer. I am not too sure what is wrong with my laptop, it has been acting strange the past couple days, I might have to tinker with stuff.

moving on, I tried to fill out my fafsa this weekend, but I forgot my pin...so I requested it and it still has not gotten to me, but my mom had it on file, I dont know why I didnt think of that earlier...she has everything on file, so yeah, I did some today, but I dont know their income so I can't get past this question so my mom is going to have to take over.
