The turkey I made yesterday was without a doubt the best turkey I have ever made...despite the fact that it was the first and only turkey that I have ever made, however I was delightfully surprised at the outcome. Steph and I bought the turkey from Safeway for 5 bucks, for a 14 pounder...not to shabby, so I was not affraid of ruining a pricy turkey, I was however worried that it would not appease my guests. at first when it was just steph and I, I was not worried, but when I realized that I was cooking for her parents, I became worried. I did not want to serve some blan, flavorless turkey to my girlfriends parents...what pressure for the first time. But like I said they enjoyed the turkey, steph enjoyed the turkey, and I was happy with it despite forgetting to put the bacon on the top...I guess that will be breakfast sometime in the future. I also made some scalloped potatoes, which turned out tasty, as well as some grands flaky biscuits...oh and the gravy..cant forget that. and steph did cook something...the corn...GO STEPONIE! I hope her parents enjoyed the meal, and were some what impressed with my cooking. I finally understand what my mom goes through now. when the final moments came ticking down I started to get stressed out. in fact I was cutting the turkey...and then my cell phone rang...so I ran to my room to pic it up with my half greasy hands...and its my mom and she has some question about colonge, then about 20 seconds after that the doorbell rings...and its steph and her parents...so I run form my room with the cell phone clasped between my palm, pinky and thumb on my left hand to attempt to unlock the front door with my pinky on the left, after getting the lock to turn it was time to turn the door knob...oh this is good...greasy hands...slick metalic object...gripping the doorknob with two fingers...ok not happening so I finally convinced my mom of the urgency that was afoot and I hung up the phone and used both hands turn the knob and greet everyone...then rush back to the kitchen and make sure nothing was burning...I was going crazy. but it was worth it in the end.

today was a good day despite waking up early...well 10:00 am. it turned out a lot better than I was expecting...steph wanted to go shopping...and whoopee its on the busiest shopping day of the year... and I dont know if you guys know this, but I hate crowds of people shopping...I hate it. sometimes I just want to stick my arms out parallel to the ground and spin in circles as fast as I can walking up and down the aisles whapping people in the face, back, neck..what have you...and I did feel like doing that today, especially at best buy...I mean common people the the f**k out of the way. I understand that you are in line, but dont stand in the middle of the damn aisle...move the f**k to the side, damn man. I am usually really happy to go to best buy, I love it thier, but today was not a good day to go...believe you me. after that steph, her parents and I went to the mall, steph got herself a bear and I got myself a snowman...he kicks major ass...haha, just looking at him right now...man I am soooo easily entertained. after that stephs parents treated us to panda express (THANK YOU!) and then we were off to petco. I got myself this little figure of a skull and crossbones to go in my tank and a plant that I have wanted for a while...then we went to circuit city, where I was happy to find some dvds and a line that did not stretch around the store twice. they had so many good moveis that I did not have, and I could not pass them up. I got matrix, gladiator, ronin...and some others, I dont feel like mentioning them all...I think it averaged to about 8 bucks per DVD, not too shabby, right? I know you are jealous. then after that we went over to priceclub...I know what you are saying "Priceclub, what the hell is that", well I call it priceclub dammit not costco...so get over it...anywho we went and got some gas for stephs car and headed inside. They were handing out some coupons at the door and steph spotted some khakis that were on sale...the msrp was like 48 bucks, then since they were at priceclub it went down to 16.99, then I got 4 bucks off of that. they did not have my exact size, so I got one size up. steph made the point that I would probably be tucking my shirt in anyway...so I was sold. the I saw indiana jones...and it had a 8 dollar instant rebate on it...I really wanted to buy it, but I had splurged already at circuit city, so I decided to wait...then to my surprise stephs mom was buying it for me (THANKS AGAIN!!)...I was shocked...and happy...so yeah...we came back to my place had dinner watched a couple movies and thats all...okay I gotta give my love a call...leights.

reformatting my computer...you might see a blog in a week from now.

well...allow me to give a quick summary of this week...the only reason I am doing this was because it was a very up and down week. I studied my ass off this week for my bio chem test, because I am determined to get at least a B in that class...and I have to since my major is bio sci. so I studied and I think it paid off, because I think I did well on the test...but the week was not soo good...the worst thing of the week was...well acutally there was two things that went wrong this week, but one of them fixed itself...but let me get to that. So on wednesday I got home with my sunglasses on my hat as usual, and then I tossed them on the bed, together. I am pretty sure you know where this story is going...so I will just cut to the chase, I broke my fucking sunglasses. this really pissed me off and continues to do so. I really like my sunglasses. it is not a matter of them being a luxury any more, I need them. The damn sun hurts my eyes when I go outside, even when it is cloudy...I have become so accustomed to them. So I went online and I found them for 60 bucks, but I guess I will have to get them after christmas when I have the money. oh coincedently that is how much I paid...well my mom and dad paid, for them about three years ago...yeah I have had them for that long. I was amazed too when I thought about it. my previous pair lasted me a bit over three, so I guess I am due for new ones anyway...but I need them. on to the next story. while I was cleaning my fish tank (with my siphon vaccum) I heard a *plunk* and I look down to find my cell phone sitting in about 2 gallons of dirty fish water. YAY! and this took place about 30 minutes after I broke my damn sunglasses. so I managed to damage 100 bucks worth of stuff in about half an hour, pretty good, huh. so I opened the thing up and let it dry for a couple days and it did not work until the next day. Steph and I were just leaving Petco, for like the 20th time this month, when my phone rang, it startled me because it was not working when I put it in my pocket. so I guess my pocket giveth (fixed my phone) and it taketh away (constantly breaks off my antenna). however for me usually bad events are usually followed by good, thats how my life is I have realized...which is a good thing. I joined the petco pals club, which is not really good fortune, but for some reason it really cheered me up. I think I just like joining clubs, because when I joined the safeway (vons for peeps back home) I felt kinda giddy like a school girl, and also when I joined blockbuster, but not so for priceclub, the $40 payment probably had something to do with it. oh today I also bought a rubber stamper that I can customize with my name on it...so I put my address on it, and that made me happy. it cost $10, but it came with a bunch of upper and lower case letters and also numbers. I was initially looking for a stamp pad (which was also included in the set) for the hedgehog stamp steph bought me, but when I saw a pad was 2 bucks and it came with the stamper for 8 bucks more I could not say no...since I have wanted one for a while, in fact it crossed my mind several times to swipe one from DE, but I could never seem to gather enough numbers or letters to make a complete set...oh well. wow, this turned out to be a long post, I guess I am bored since I am the only person in the house...tamo went to frisco with JASS and steph is at work...so here I am to wallow in my own pitty. maybe I should study...psh on a saturday...nah...I guess I will go watch some simpsons on DVD and make some nachos...leights all.

Eric Gagne won the Cy Young! I actually knew this yesterday, but forgot to post about it. I think of all the pitchers in the NL he definitely deserved it the most...not to be a cocky dodgers fan or whatever, but he pitched a really great season.

on a separate note after studying my ass off for my biochem midterm I feel that I did fairly well on it. I dont want to sound confident or anything, because whenever I do that I usually fail horribly. so I dont want to sound confident, but I feel...well...good that the outcome in about a week will be okay...well, imma go back to being a vegetable...leights

got this from a friend, it is going to take a while for you 56kers, but it is funny. oh and my thoughts on this what kind of idiot would want this...although I guess the thing answers that question.

well I am in the computer lab at school waiting to register for my crappy classes next quarter. of all 4 classes that planned to take next quarter, I got none of them. I had to replan all of my classes over again. yes I am bitter. then to top it off I got an 18/35 on my midterm for my earthquake class. that was supposed to be a freaken easy class. its so stupid though, only one person got above 30. at least 18 is a strong B. I dont know, I think the questions were worded strangely...which is why I did so bad, and I guess I was not the only one to think this. Okay I have to study for my o chem midterm in like 30 minutes and get ready for my passtime which is in like 8 minutes, blah.

hi jamesy :] <3

I was looking into grad school, and I am really interested in Scripps in UCSD and Santa Barbara...I also found that you dont need a masters to get a Ph.D. you can, for some majors, just jump from a B.S. to a Ph.D. I dont know if I can do that, I need to look into it a bit more...but it is possible...ok me go sleepy time now...
