um.. saturday I went to congofeet's second christmas gathering. it was fun. lots of good food.. mm.. cheesecake, fried meat wontons, ham, noodle, rice, bbq chicken, bbq pork and other nummies I can't think of right now. the gift opening wasn't as hectic as it was on christmas day but the OG santa, once again, was deposed. congofeet got me this CUTE (sorry jamesy, it is!) lil porcelain piggy figurine from rainbow world (sanrio in atlantic square).. it's ADORABLE.. and smelly pants mikey gave me this lil bugs bunny ornament/charm. I'm gonna take both the pig in a blanket and the bunny in a box up to davis with me. I'll have to find a safe place for them though.. thanks again KRAUSE FAMILY for a wonderful holiday! (I look forward to after holiday shopping :] ) today I went to cabazon with ape, myra and their dad. at first their dad was the one doin the most shopping.. then once ape bought her first item of the day, she let loose.. so did myra. boy they had bagfulls of goodies to bring home, all at a good price too.. despite how disappointed ape was with jcrew's selection. I didn't buy anything cuz I didn't find anything I liked. maybe tomorrow I will find something when I go with congofeet's family. I have a new cell phone.. I forgot to mention. I got it saturday before congofeet's second xmas gathering, thus I was a tad late to his grandma's. I'll email you guys about my new number.. if anyone goes online anymore. alright.. gotta get some sort of R&R for tomorrow.. I'm a lil sick so sorry if anybody gets sick.. and my stuffy nose is givin me a headache.. which adds to my late night cookie binging.. which all in all contributes to my car sickness.. oi vey. congofeet has offered to let me post on his blogger until bravenet, blogger or I shape up. we shall find out later who(m) it may be. late.

oh yeah, my brother was playing this game last night/this morning called FULL THROTTLE. it's like SAM&MAX and made by the same people. it's as funny as sam&max so I recommend you try both. power to ya.

today (yesterday) I woke up at around noon. I got ready and headed over to curt's house cuz I wanted to hang out with him today. I was invited to go to cabazon with my cousins, and although it was tempting, curt is the one stuck with me for the day. I headed over to curt's house and there I was greeted by curt and mika. curt showed me all the crystal bracelets they were making.. all of them very pretty. they gave me one for christmas and I've been wearing it whenever I go out. it sparkles and it's pretty.. :] I hope to make some of them next week. I forgot what kind of crystals they are.. swarovski I think. after that we headed off to get some gas and then we went to fry's. fry's was packed but it was even worse when we left. cars were lined up pretty far in the left turn lane (we went to the city of industry one). we walked around but curt couldn't find what he was looking for so we left. we headed to downtown disney cuz I was a lil hungry and I haven't been there in a while. curt had free parking at the disney parking structure so we parked there and took the tram to downtown. the first place we went to was espn zone. curt said there was really good food and I've never been there so we went. curt was nice enough to treat me to lunch since we hardly see each other anymore. curt told me that the zone cheesesteak was good so I tried it. he wasn't kidding. basically all the food is good there and for an okay price for the portion you're gettin. after that we walked around. we went to the lego store. curt showed me the lifesize star wars lego people and the bionicles. after that we looked at pins at the pin cart across the way (curt collects pins) and since we didn't find any we liked, we moved on. we went to buildabear next. that place is usually packed but it wasn't too bad today. curt made a monkey and dressed it in baseball clothes with angel wings. it's supposed to be the rally monkey from the angels. he has been wanting to make his girlfriend one and since he was there he did. it costed him a pretty penny but I'm sure his gf will like it. we next headed to liquid planet. we looked at all the shirts and sweaters. though we saw some good ones, we rationalized that all that prettiness will wash off and thus didn't buy those shirts. I found a pretty nice quiksilver shirt that was marked 30% off.. when I took it to the cashier, she rang it up as 50% off.. not that I'm complaining.. I was content. next we went to the world of disney cuz tiff got this santa stitch pin and we wanted to look for it. curt and I knew we weren't gonna find it but it's worth a try and we could find other pretty nice things on sale. I didn't see anything I liked but curt found a donald jersey that his gf has been eyeing for a while. after he bought it we left. I don't know what time it was though. we went to the block cuz I haven't been there for who knows how long. the first place we went to was hilo hattie, which is a hawaiian store. the only thing I got there were some handmade paper/leaves notebooks/journals. they were really nice and they'd usually be very expensive (and I usually see them sold separately) but cheap then for some reason so I bought em. lots of things I have to try to get up north.. after that we went to various other stores.. a couple sports stores.. a couple toy stores.. stores here and there.. we got sodas at auntie anne's cuz we were thirsty and the cups we got were really nice. sturdy. we went to a couple surf/skate stores. curt and I got matching No Fear sweaters cuz they were on sale for the cheapest price we've seen. I asked curt to help me find a blue flameboy shirt and a yellow wet willy shirt (they're characters from world industries). we were close a couple times but they were either the wrong size or the wrong color. I'll just have to wait.. I was thinking of gettin my name all artsied up by a guy who does artsy lettering.. like in fisherman's wharf where a guy does the letters of a name in paints. it was a dollar a letter, which is the cheapest I've seen but ended up not doing it cuz we ran out of time. old navy was the last place we went to cuz curt found this really nice jacket but the line was freakin long. after he bought the jacket, which was on sale for like 55-60% off, we went back to curt's house cuz he had to pick up some stuff. once he got what he needed, we headed to pink's (a really old and famous hot dog stand in hollywood). they're famous mainly for their hot dogs I think. we waited in line FOREVER.. there were so many people there.. I think we were waiting for like forty minutes.. curt and I talked, and curt's friend jason was there with his friends. we all chatted a bit. my feet were killin me from all that shopping and waiting in line.. my parents were pretty pissed cuz they wanted me home so curt and I rushed back to his car.. he thought he had an hour of parking but read the signs wrong.. when we got to his car, a cop was looking at his license plate.. I think cuz he saw us coming, he didn't write us a ticket (thank goodness) but proceeded to write the car behind us a ticket :\ curt rushed us safely home and I headed back home with my hot dog and soda. I had to thank curt while walking quickly to my car.. kinda felt bad but I had to get goin. I told him I'd hang out with him again, when his parents get back from arizona. I like spendin quality time with them; they're lots of fun. I rushed home and ate my hot dog. it's called the millenium dog. curt recommended it.. it's a foot long and has everything on it.. man that thing was so good yet so spicy.. curt and I have to go back to the block for a number of sweaters and to pink's for some more hot dogs. he's such a great friend. he be mah homie, mah brotha.. I help him flip off cars on the freeway and he protects me from the thugs in hollywood. he invited me to go make mochi for new year's but I'm supposed to hang out with april. I'll ask april if she'd like to go. if not, it's cool and we could hang out or whatevers. I'll have to ask her.. though it's kinda late right now :\ whoa.. it IS gettin late.. time for bed. g'night.

let's see now.. since the saturday the 21st...

sunday I hung out with leah, ape, sar and shmollie. we all met at ape's house and from there we went to el tepeyac. somethin a lil different from our usual carrow's but still really good. after eatin we all went over to the new edward's theatre that opened on main in alhambra. it was a nice new theatre. a lot of people were there to see lord of the rings 2. the seats were velvety and they reclined a lil. the only problem was that during the movie (we saw maid in manhattan, which wasn't as bad as I thought, yet your typical chick flick), the people behind us kept putting their feet in our seats.. I think leah and shmollie had to deal with it most :\ after the movie, sar had to get going (her hair is so long!) so she left soon. the ape and I had to get dropped off at ape's house cuz my car was there while shmollie dropped leah off at home since they live so close to one another. ape and I wished smollie and leah a merry christmas and for shmollie to have a safe trip(!!!) cuz she's gonna be off in japan and china after christmas (lucky bum). I stayed at ape's house to try to help her bake some christmas cookies for her friends and eug's family. I hope I was of some help :\ ape, her mom and I had to go to the store to get the cookie stuff so we went to the market, came back and made the cookie dough. ape and I made sugar cookies while ape's mom made chocolate chip. ape said she was really tired (and it was pretty late) so she'd bake them the next morning. I went home and slept..

monday.. boy did it feel good to sleep til two thirty in the afternoon. this is the day to just kick back. I woke up, took a shower, gave stacy some attention, ate and watched tv. I wanted to get my hair cut before christmas cuz I needed a haircut and wanted to look decent for congofeet's family gathering. I called up my cousin who lives close to the supercuts to see if she wanted a haircut. her dad said it was alright so I picked her up and went to supercuts. I like supercuts cuz the people are usually nice and the prices are cheap. the lady that cut my hair was SO incredibly nice. I liked her :] after we got our haircuts, we went back to my cousin's house cuz my aunt invited me over for dinner. my aunt, uncle and cousins are lots of fun. I mean, I have other relatives who are quite fun to hang out with but these people get pretty crazy. we ate and us girls kinda chatted about school and boys; the usual. it was gettin late so I had to go. when I got home, I realized I had forgot my hairclip at my cousin's house cuz after I shower, I clip my wet hair back after brushing it. my hair was just about dry by the time I had gotten to my cousin's house so my lil cousin was playing with it after she went through my purse (with my permission). these girls are an interesting couple heh heh

tuesday.. christmas eve. I woke up at noon. ape was supposed to give me a call when she got up so we could hang out. poor girl was pooped from baking and wrapping so she overslept. I was supposed to give leah a call when I got to ape's house cuz it has to drop off gifts. everyone was still asleep and I don't blame em. I woke up april cuz I called her cell (sorry) but she still had to get her car damage estimated. my parents wanted to take me out to dim sum cuz I haven't had it in a while so while ape got her damage priced, I went to lunch with my parents. we drove around a bit, tryin to find a good restuarant that didn't have a crowd of people waiting outside the door for seats. three's a charm cuz the third restaurant we tried wasn't ridiculously packed, just moderately. after some gooood dim sum we went home. ape was supposed to pick me up at four so I had enough time to eat and come home. I got home and smelly called. she wanted to drop off my gift. I asked ape of she could pick me up cuz I didn't have a car. besides, she and smelly had to exchange gifts anyway. smelly arrived at my house so we talked outside while waiting for ape. ape arrived with myra so we chatted a bit. I asked ape if we could stop by curt's house cuz I had gifts for him and tiff (thanks ape). we were at curt's house for a lil bit talking to him and his parents. they're a great family. then we headed back to ape's house to do some more baking. I think I caused more trouble than help though :\ we baked cookies and did sugar sprinkles. myra did most of the sprinkles though. we packaged some cookies on plates and dropped by stevek's house. he had to go pick up his sister from ucla so we didn't stay too long. we got back and packaged a couple more plates for ape's friend david. ape's mom was home to watch myra and she was gonna start making tamales. we found david's house and went inside. david's family is so funny. even their dog, cats and fish were funny. david's parents told us so many embarrassing stories about david and about just interesting stuff. we stayed there for about three hours when we intended to stay there just ten minutes. myra called ape to see if she'd be home soon cuz ape's mom ended up falling asleep on the couch. poor mommy was pooped from workin all day. my mommy worked a half day and took me out to lunch :] ape and I left david's house and when we arrived back at ape's house, ape's mom was kinda already workin on the meat. ape's mom showed me how to make tamales (the condensed version cuz tamales take a really long time to make from scratch). after she did most of the work (us three girls: ape, myra and me, helped here and there) we started opening christmas gifts since it hit midnight. such wonderful gifts were had by all! after all that excitement (even about a papershredder heh) we sat in the livingroom and just had girl talk. we just chatted and chatted. we talked for at least a good 45mins. til it was gettin kinda late. all four of left cuz I had to go home. this is another great family to know.

wednesday.. CHRISTMAS DAY!! today I woke up two hours later than I planned but I still made it on time. I had to be at congofeet's grandparent's house at ten thirty in the mornin so I set my alarm for seven since I have no idea what can come along to delay my arrival at the grandkrause's house. I ended waking up at nine. I hurried my ass outta bed, took a shower, dried my hair, curled it, got dressed, loaded the car, waited for my mom to give me avocados and left. I got to the grandkrause's house and we were off to the chagolla's (after a potty break for grandma krause). when we got to the chagolla's I met sophie, their dalmation. she's so sweet! but kinda hyper. I finally got to meet the chagolla family. pam was cooking and congofeet wasn't there yet so the grandkrauses and I watched some tv. after a lil bit congofeet and his family arrive with lots of gifts and baked goods. the whole day was lots of fun: opening gifts, wrapping paper pelting, really good food, great people to spend the holiday with. THANK YOU KRAUSE AND CHAGOLLA FAMILIES!!

these past couple weeks have made me appreciate my friends, their families and my family because they share these great times with me. I know my family doesn't really celebrate the holidays but they're always there for me, and I love them for that.. happy christmas and merry new year.. this new cordless optical mouse is zany. I got home and BAM, it was here. wowza.

earlier today, as I was waiting for my parents to get ready to go (they were doing yardwork instead of preparing to go shopping. blasphemy I know.) I tucked stacy in. I had layed out her blanket to dry cuz it got soaked from the last time she drug it outside only for it to be drenched in the rain. too bad it rained again. finally the blanket was dry enough so that stacy can sleep on it. I moved her doggie house so that she won't get rain or wind and I layed out her blanket inside her house. I guess she was so happy that she got her blanket back, and probably cuz of her arthritis, she quickly plopped down, with her bum stickin out of the dog house. crazy puppy. hopefully she's warmer than before even though it's still freezing outside. I know she's used to it but I'd rather her not go through it..

I was watching my brother play animal crossing yesterday and one of the characters talks ghetto.. with his bippin and his boppin and hippin and his hoppin.. and his fo schizzo's. it's an interesting game.. another interesting game that I played is called the longest journey. it's like sanitarium, my brother says, and so far it's pretty interesting.. it's just that, well, it's been a freakin long journey. and I'm barely on the second chapter. I can't seem to play it without being on my brother's xp account so that kinda stinks :\ today my parents and I went to ontario mills. it was mighty crowded, considering it's the last weekend before christmas. too many people walking slowly and too many people with kids, babies rather. I found a clearance frame at mikasa. it's a nice glass frame; really purdy. it was already pretty cheap but in the clearance section, nothing can be cheap enough, thus there was an additional 20% off :] my parents bought it for me. maybe I can put a pick of me and jamesy in there *ahem* *wink wink nudge nudge* *hint hint* (<-those are hints if you're wondering) the majority of shopping at ontario was me looking for a decent yet affordable pair of boots. didn't find any though :\ the prices were better than the prices I've seen at other malls, probably cuz ontario is an outlet mall. at mikasa, my dad found these colored glass fish dishes but since the display ones were the only ones left, my mom didn't want to get it. she doesn't like buying things that other people touch.. go figure. my dad really liked it too. there was a large dish and a small candy dish. they were pretty. not flowers like all the other dishes.

ANYway, I'm gonna be at congofeet's for christmas episode I and christmas episode II. hey, they're legendary full-o-fun parties and I think there are usually three of them. I have gifts for my friends but I'm not even sure if we're gonna see each other since there's no meeting date. I might have to just drop off gifts at people's houses. eh, we'll see. I hope we meet up. alright I'm gettin kinda tired. gonna go chill.

well, there have been some things that I've been wanting to post but seeing as how it's all up north, I'm gonna do that when I get back.. I got home yesterday and once again, my flight was delayed. at least this time I wasn't stuck at the airport for twelve plus hours. I was lined up, along with the rest of the A group, to get on the plane. on the overhead speakers, a lady says that they are waiting for the crew of my flight to arrive so there might be a delay of 30-45mins.. later on they say that they have the majority of the crew but they're still missing the pilot. about 45mins later, they announce that what they thought to be a minor mechanical problem with the plane is really a big problem.. so they made everyone from my flight board the next flight out to burbank. the people of my plane weren't very happy.. first of all, cuz they were told bullcrap; second, because we waited an hour; third, because the plane is full instead of half full and roomy. I suppose I'd rather wait an hour to board a full plane that works instead of boarding a half full broken plane.. in any event, I had a nice conversation with the guy that sat next to me on the plane. he actually knew schurr cuz he's from south pasadena. it's his first year in a law firm and his first year married! how exciting. what else I find exciting is takeoff. I like how takeoff feels like you're goin up on a rollercoaster but the car isn't comin down just yet. I got to see a plane land and another takeoff from my seat on the plane. interesting to watch.. when I got home to see stacy.. I really realized how old she is. she has seriously bad arthritis compared to the last time I saw her and the fibrous growths on her bum are still growing and kind of oozing. my stacy is so old.. she walks funny and is always sluggish.. well, more than before.. she has tons of trouble getting up or going up stairs. she can't seem to bend her wrists and her back legs bow. my poor old baby :( and she's so spoiled! I'll teach her a lesson! I'm gonna spoil her some more! alright I'm tired.. been wrappin gifts day and night since I got back, and I'm almost done. lates. oh yeah, my archives seem to be actin up so I gotta teach that mofo a lesson.. once I'm not so tired..

well I typed a nice blog about x mas and today, but my connection took a crap just as I published...hah and I did not copy before I published like an idiot that I am...I am not going to type another one today, maybe if your are lucky I'll type a recap. but here is a summary of the blog that was not published:

today: bratty annoying cousins came over to house, I was voulenteered to watch them against my will. had really crappy sleep due to back ache, making my day worse. bright point in the day...best buy gift card from uncle...w00t.

xmas: very fun as all xmas' are. lots of gifts...fun was had by all. got a coffee maker (as well as a personalized stein and zippo) from my love, these were the perfect gifts for me, I kinda wish I could get hints like her.

well I looked at my grades, and grades make me sad...I did not get an A in bio like I was hoping, I guess I did not do that well on the final, but the grade I got was my highest grade ever B+ so that means that I did half way decent on the final. my chem class was a C like always, and that is all that I hope for, my maf on the other hand...well lets not talk about that, lets just say I passed, but I am going to have to retake it so that it looks a little more prettyful on my transcript. I still dont know about O chem, the grades for that class have not been posted yet, so it all hindges on that class, if I did decent (decent being a C) then I will be happy, all I want is a C, I dont know if that is too much to ask, but I hope it is not. jeez, next quarter things will be different though, I think I am going to start to apply myself. I mean I know that I can do some great things when I apply myself. I am tired of worrying about grades...I am tired of sitting in suspense hoping for that C, this is bullshit, I should be hoping for that A. I am sick and tired of that crap, I enjoyed bio so much because I did so well in it. I had fun dreaming of getting that A in it, and although it did not happen, I am not totally bummed out, just a tad, and I am more than willing to settle for that B+ than that C...this is the end of the slacker James, no more of this crap.

well its over...this is the end...the end of the quarter. I have not been typing much over the past week, but thats because the past week has been finals. I am not going to lie and say I spent the whole time studying...because I did not. however I do feel that I spent more time studying than I normally would have. well lets go over how I think finals went...but this is no indication whatsoever of my potential grades. on tuesday I had maf...ew...it was not pretty, I am just hoping to pass the damn class, he is a good teacher and all, and I understand what is being taught, but his tests are so freaken hard. they are really difficult because he knows math so well, and enjoys it. its really frustrating that his tests are so difficult. on wednesday I had chemistry...that did not go horrifically bad, but lets face it...its chem...and I dont do well in it. if I am lucky I might get a B though, but thats only if I am really lucky. today...o chem and biology. biology was ok, I dont think that I am going to get an A like I had hoped because in order for that to happen I needed to a 90% on the test, but I just dont feel like I did 90% well...maybe 75-80% well, but definitely not 90%...I predict B in bio as long as the final was not a total bomb, I think I had about a 10% buffer from a C I dont quite remember, just hoping for the best...O chem...ew, yuck gross...hoping for a C...I know that these grades are low for me...but they are a vast improvement over last year when I would not even contimplate getting any higher than a C so yeah...well I am off to relax and recover from such traumatizing events...I am not learning anything for the rest of the year...my brain is officially shut down for winter break...as of now...leights

well its been a couple days since I have been back at school from the thanksgiving day weekend. thanksgiving went pretty well. steph, hiro, jenn, and I left davis at about 4:30 ish and I got dropped off at my grandparents house at around 12 ish I guess. the weekend would have been much better had my grand parents not divulged the fact that I was coming to thanksgiving. I was aiming to surprise my dad and my bros, but the morning of thanksgiving all was lost. I was glad though that my dad was happy. I could tell over the phone, but I would have rather seen him in person. I was kinda pissed at my grandparents, I spent about three weeks keeping my mouth shut about coming down for thanksgiving, and my mom worked hard too to keep it under the table, then in one fleeting moment everything was messed up. it started when my grandpa was helping my grandma outta the chair and the phone rang...so very hesitantly I picked it up, and to my dismay it was my father...I was like "oh shit, this jig is up" but it turned out that our cell phone made a beeping sound and my dad thought the phone messed up, so I very quickly and slyly played it off. it worked beautifully, and I was happy again. I then took the phone out to my grandma and told her that my dad was going to call and to answer the phone like I was not there...and here is where things went downhill...she answered the phone "hi, dad" I just about fell to the floor, my whole surprise shot to hell...I slapped my forehead in disgust and sat down next to steph. I knew then that my surprise was ruined...so all in all thanksgiving day was a mess up, but I am happy that I surprised my dad...somewhat. well on to friday, the day after thanksgiving...and everyone knows what that means...SALES!! everywhere, buy one of these get these free, free with rebates, buy $100 get this free, 50% off, and such...its great. my mom and dad like to get the jump on these sales so me, andy, and my mom and dad woke up at the butt crack of dawn to go to the stores to get the deals. andy and I went in line at best buy (the happiest place on earth, but it wasnt this day...too freaken crowded) and my mom and dad went to toys r us. I went in, and andy and I split up, he was to get a couple dvd's for 12.99 and 14.99 I think, and I was to go check out the mixers that they had on sale, but it turns out that our best buy does not carry small appliances so now it was time to browse. but it was too crowded, so I picked up some free CD-R's, a new keyboard for steph, and monopoly tycoon. and then andy and I waited in line...and waited...and waited...an hour an a half later we were done...however my dad was still stuck at toys r us, in fact he was stuck for another hour. since andy and I were done early my mom drove us over the circuit city where we picked up some stuff, then we went back to toys r us and got my dad. after that it was to sears and then doughnuts and chocolate milk and then home at about 9:30. I told steph that we were planning on going to cabazon, so she said she wanted to come, so she drove to my place. we partook in some doughnutage and then we were off to cabazon, about a half an hour drive...when we got there it was packed...filled to the brim...there was no parking and to eveyones dismay we had to head back home, so steph came out for no reason...well she did get some good food. and that was my saturday. oh yeah I also spent some time playing video games with my bros...sunday it was time to head back to my home, so I packed up and we were off to my grandmas, I got there at about 8 am and steph and jenn were waiting. I loaded up all of my stuff, there was a lot of stuff... then we were off to davis. the trip back up was not too bad despite getting lost (about 30 min to 45 min detour) but that was okay. I got back home and unpacked, I tried to clean up my room, but I still have not really to this day. I had to finish a lab yesterday and study for a midterm that I had at 8 this morn...the one that was postponed due to a kidnapping/rape that turned out to be made up...go figure. well I am off, I think I have some sort of stomach thing going on, I just bought some 7up...which might be the reason why I am so tired...I have to do my maf homework tonight :\ ew...maf...and then I get my mid term back...spew.
